Berkhamsted MCC Practice Ground Rules 2026

BERKHAMSTED MC&CC “USE OF NASH MILLS PRACTICE GROUND”RULES 01/01/2026

  1. The Nash Mills trials ground is for the exclusive use of bona fide club members only.
  2. All people entering Nash Mill do so entirely at their own risk.
  3. You may only ride at Nash Mills if you know of no medical condition that would impair your ability to ride at Nash Mills without causing injury to yourself or others.
  4. The club does not provide Personal Insurance and the onus lies entirely with the member to provide Personal Insurance as they think appropriate.
  5. The Club accepts no responsibility for personal injury, for loss or damage to personal possessions of Club Members or any accompanying persons howsoever caused.

6. Any incident involving injury or other loss occurring at the Nash Mills trials ground must be recorded and reported to the Club Secretary without delay. Contact details are available on the club website and on the Club sign at entrance.

7. In accordance with our Dacorum lease, the Nash Mills trials ground can be used between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday and between 10am and 6pm on Sundays.

8. LONE RIDING IS NOT PERMITTED. Anyone found lone riding will have their Club Membership and Nash Mills usage immediately revoked.Adults must be accompanied by another person over 16 years of age.Members under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

9. The Nash Mills facility may only be used by motorcycles deemed to be for the specific purpose  of Trials.

10. Any motorcycle not clearly identified as above MUST NOT BE USED at Nash Mills. Other machines may be presented for inspection by a minimum of two Committee members who will approve, or not, its use on an individual basis. Such machines will have identification recorded and a card issued detailing approval.Inspection will be available at Committee meetings, or by previous arrangement..

11. Protective clothing must be worn at all times as per ACU TSR12. The club agrees with the ACU and strongly recommends Back Protection. This becomes mandatory 01/01/2027.

12. The Club recommends that Youth riders should only ride machines to capacity and size as specified in the AMCA Trials Rule Book 2026…Rule 1

13. Members must ensure that the gates are locked at all times, including when riding inside.

14. A proof of membership email will be sent on joining/rejoining the club which should be printed out or on a phone when you ride, to show on demand. Club cards can be issued on request

In completing the reading of these rules, in order to become riding members, you must acknowledge you have read them before riding at Nash Mills either via online or postal …..Berkhamsted MC & CC Ltd Club joining systems.
